NICE TO MEET YOU!
INTRODUCING SOME MEMBERS

Notwithstanding a little problem in her journey to the Philippines, Sr. Clotilde Kabeyene Evoto of the African Union arrived safely in Tagaytay on 16th November, in time for the Opening Mass.   Sister is from Sanghelima in Cameroun and she has served the congregation as a teacher, Novice Mistress, Regional Superior and Union Council member.   This is the 5th time Sister is participating in a General Chapter  of the Congregation, twice as a translator, once as an observer, and twice as a delegate.   For you out there who are following the blog, Sr. Clotilde wishes to ask you to pray for us and our Chapter, that the Holy Spirit may truly lead and enlighten us.  As you enjoy the blog and see the pictures, may you also have a sense of our Internationality and be united with us your delegates, as we of one heart reflect about the congregation and chart it’s growth.

WHAT’S GOING ON?

This is the second full day of listening to reports and getting a good view of the Congregation as a whole and the individual Provinces and Regions.  Sister Mary Fyfe’s comprehensive report yesterday gave the members of the Chapter a deep sense of hope for the future.   It is with this hope that we then listened to the Finance Report and the Province and Region Reports starting off with Australia and the Philippines.  Today we continued with the other Provinces and Regions.  Having finished with all the reports, the day ended with a Eucharistic Celebration thanking the Lord for the gift of our vocation and the gift of every sister in every province and region.

IN OUR AGENDA:

After three full days in the conference hall, the members of the Chapter are now ready for a well-deserved break.   Tomorrow is a free day and we are spending the day at Villa Escudero, a cultural park here in the Philippines.   We want you to see where we are going so check out this website: www.villaescudero.com

Also, please be informed that being a free day, there will be no post tomorrow, 19th of November.  Photos and news about the outing will be posted on the 20th.
